Religion
Monday-3/23..Friday-3/27
Color Lent butterfly or Lent path for each day. Don’t forget to color the days for this weekend!
Monday-3/23..Friday-3/27
I thought it would be fun for students to keep in touch with their friends during this crazy time. One way to incorporate Religion, writing, and friends is by having students become a Lenten Prayer Pal! I would like students to pick 2 friends in our class throughout this week to write to. In their letter students should let their prayer pal know that they are praying for them and their family while we’re away from school. They may also add whatever they want in their letters including questions, drawings etc. Students can mail their letters, email their letters, or if it’s easier parents can take pictures of their letters and text them to their prayer pals parents for them to show their child. I don’t want this to be an inconvenience or frustrating for parents or students so please handle this how you see fit. Please send me a picture of your students letters so that I can give them their PBIS points for the week.
I have attached a link and a downloadable attachment to give you an idea of what it can look like. You can print this or you can totally do your own thing. Again, do what is easy for you!

Science
Tuesday-3/24
Please go to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s YouTube website by clicking the following link.
https://m.youtube.com/results?search_query=cincinnati+zoo+and+botanical+garden+
Click and watch one of the “Home Safari” videos about an animal. Feel free to do one of the activities they give you in the video but you do not have to. What I would like you to do is draw a picture of the animal and write a couple sentences answering the following questions...
1) Where would this animal live if it were in the wild?
2) What does this animal eat?
3) What is one thing that you find interesting about this animal.
4) Do you think it would be neat to be this animal for a day? If so, what would you want to do during your time as this animal?
Thursday-3/26
Repeat this activity with a different animal for Thursday’s lesson. Please answer the following questions about the animal you pick on Thursday...
1) Is this animal a living or non-living thing?
2) What does this animal need in order to survive?
3) Is this animal used for learning at schools or kids activities?
